Most of you know, I spend harvest in Sonoma and work every single day in the winery tending to fermenting grapes. It's truly a labor of love. Sonoma is a second home to me and I have made some lifelong friends in this wonderful community. The recent fires in Sonoma, Napa & Santa Rosa were devastating with over 8,400 structures lost, 42 fatalities, and over 20 people still missing. It will take many, many years to rebuild communities that were completely wiped out.

Winemaking in CA is not be possible without the vast immigrant community. I have selected La Luz Center as the recipient of this fundraiser. La Luz was created as a safe place for immigrants to go for help in emergencies and in building their new lives. (www.laluzcenter.org)"
